Renewal agreement: Effective April 1, 2023 to May 31, 2033. Signed on April 20, 2023.
Shift premium: $1 per hour (previously $0.25 per hour) for jobsite steward on larger projects.
Paid holidays: 9 days and employee will be paid 10% for vacation and holidays per pay.
Overtime: Time and one-half for work after 8 hours in 1 day and 45 hours in 1 week.
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (spouse, children). 1 day for death of mother, father, brother, sister, mother-in-law, father-in-law.
Seniority – recall rights: 6 months after layoff; 26 weeks for employee who is absent from work due to illness or injured.
Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours’ pay.
Probationary period: 45 working days in any 6-month period.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will pay employees 1.25 hours per month to offset cost of safety clothing. Employees must provide own hard hat, safety boots, fire-retardant coveralls.

Welder: $25 to $40
First-aid attendant: $16 to $35
Office staff: $16 to $35
Editor’s notes: Death benefit fund: For all employees, including contractors, minimum $500 payout (previously $300 payout). Standby: 4 hours per day provided employee is available for work and reports for scheduled 3 meal hours.
