Paid holidays: 11 days.
Bereavement leave: 5 consecutive paid days for death of spouse, parent, stepparent, child, stepchild, grandparent, stepgrandparent, grandchild, stepgrandchild, foster-parent, foster-child, sibling, dependent relative. 1 paid day for death of aunt, uncle, niece, nephew.
Pension: Employee contribution of 2% will be matched by employer into structured group RRSP.

Right of first refusal: Part-time members achieve right of first refusal if they have taught course minimum of 3 times within 72 months and have served 36 months from initial appointment. Intellectual property: Members own all intellectual property they develop. Employer may retain ownership of intellectual property from work initiatives specifically commissioned by employer. Professional development fund: $15,000 per year is available to all employees. Each employee may access maximum $750 per year for professional development conferences or activities. ($1,500 if employee is presenting).
