Wage adjustments:
Effective Aug. 4, 2023: 5%
Effective Aug. 1, 2024: 2.5%
Effective Aug. 1, 2025: 2.5%
Paid holidays: 9 days.
Vacations with pay: 2 weeks or 4% to start, 3 weeks or 6% after 60 months.
Overtime: Time and one-half for work after 8 hours per day or 44 hours in workweek.
Medical benefits: Employer and eligible employees will bear apportioned percentage of premium costs of group health and medical benefit plans as amended from time to time by employer.
Seniority – recall rights: 2 years after layoff.
Probationary period: First 90 days of employment.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 36 months for any discipline.
Sample rates of hourly pay (current, after 2% increase):
Barista: $17 rising 2 steps to $17.34
Shift supervisor: $21.10 rising 2 steps to $21.52
Editor’s notes: Medical examinations: Employer may require employee to attend independent medical examination (IME) by medical specialist chosen by employer in circumstances determined appropriate by employer. Costs of IME will be borne by employer.
