Renewal agreement: Effective Nov. 1, 2014, to Oct. 31, 2018. Signed on April 13, 2015.
Wage adjustments:
Effective March 7, 2016: 2.25%
Effective March 6, 2017: 2.5%
Effective March 5, 2018: 3%
Paid holidays: 10 days.
Vacations with pay: 4% of earnings to start, 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 6 years and 4 weeks after 20 years.
Sick leave: 1 paid day and 4 days paid at 50% for employees with a minimum of 5 years of seniority.
AD&D: Employer pays 50% of premiums.
Life insurance: Employer pays 50% of premiums.
Bereavement leave: 3 paid and 2 unpaid days for employee’s parent, spouse, child, brother, sister, grandparent, grandchild, father-in-law or mother-in-law. 2 paid and 3 unpaid days for employee’s brother-in-law, sister-in-law, aunt or uncle.
Seniority – recall rights: 9 months.
Probationary period: 6 months.
Safety shoes: $125 for safety boots.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer pays 70% of cost of uniforms. Employees pay 30% of cost by payroll deduction.
Tool allowance: $175 for service technicians and apprentices.

Editor’s notes: Moonlighting: Any employee undertaking work outside the employer’s operation that could be construed as being competitive will be subject to immediate discipline including termination without notice. Accidents: An employee whose driving record has been accident-free for the previous 5 years and who is deemed responsible for a traffic violation and is involved in a motor vehicle accident will pay 50% of the employer’s insurance deductible. An employee who is deemed responsible for committing a second or subsequent traffic violation and is involved in a second or subsequent motor vehicle accident within a 5-year period will pay 100% of the employer’s insurance deductible.
