Renewal agreement: Effective April 1, 2026 to March 31, 2029
Paid holidays: New Year's Day, Family Day, Labour Day, Good Friday, Thanksgiving Day, Victoria Day, Christmas Day, Canada Day, Boxing Day, Civic Holiday
Personal and sick days: April 1, 2026: 7 days; April 1, 2027: 8 days; April 1, 2028: 9 days
Overtime: 1.5 times regular hourly wage over 44 hours per week
Bereavement leave: 5 days for immediate family (parents, grandparent, child, child-in-law, grandchild, sibling, stepfamily); 2 unpaid days if funeral not attended by employee
Probationary period: 90 days
Sunset clause: 12 months
Safety boots: $175/year
Uniforms/clothing: employer provides winter coats, gloves and hard hats; 3 uniforms/year
Sample rates of pay (with benefits):
Light duty: $19 rising 2 steps to $21.55
Heavy duty: $19.75 rising 2 steps to $22.30
