Renewal agreement: Effective April 1, 2026 to March 31, 2029
Paid holidays: New Year's Day, Family Day, Labour Day, Good Friday, Thanksgiving Day, Victoria Day, Christmas Day, Canada Day, Boxing Day, Civic Holiday
Overtime: 1.5 times regular hourly wage over 9 hours/day, 44 hours per week; two times regular rate for work on Sunday; 50% shift premium for work between 9 pm and 6 am; $2/hour for danger pay
Bereavement leave: 5 days for immediate family (parent, spouse, child, parents-in-law, spouse’s children in custodial or guardianship relationship)
Probationary period: 3 months
Mileage: $0.50 per km
Uniforms/clothing: employer provides all necessary PPE (safety boots, safety eyewear, safety gloves, hard hat, safety vests, ear protection, fall arrest harness)
Sample rates of pay:
Construction worker: $50.11 rising 2 steps to $53.24
