Wage adjustments:

Shift premium: $1.63 per hour (previously $1.60 per hour) for hours worked between midnight and 6 a.m. Effective June 1, 2022: $1.66 per hour.
Paid holidays: 11 days.
Vacations with pay: 1.25 days per month, maximum 15 days, to start, additional 5 days, maximum 150 hours, after 8 years, 5 weeks, maximum 187.5 hours, after 15 years, 6 weeks, maximum 225 hours, after 20 years. In exceptional cases, 1 week of vacation — for those entitled to 3, 4, 5 or 6 weeks — may be carried over to subsequent year.
Overtime: Time and one-half for work after 75 hours in 2-week period. Time may be banked, maximum 37.5 hours.
Meal allowance: $8.50 ($5 without receipt) when employee works more than 2 hours beyond scheduled shift and shift is minimum 7.5 hours in length.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25% of premiums. Effective June 1, 2022: Employer pays 70% of premium, employee pays 30% of premiums. Employer will maintain health and wellness program, maximum $200 every 2 years for each full-time employee (pro rata amount for employees who work less than full-time hours).
Dental: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25% of premiums. Effective June 1, 2022: Employer pays 70% of premium, employee pays 30% of premiums.
Vision: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25% of premiums. Effective June 1, 2022: Employer pays 70% of premium, employee pays 30% of premiums.
Sick leave: 9.375 hours or 1.25 days after each month of employment, maximum of 112.5 hours or 15 days at any given time.
STD: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25% of premiums. Effective June 1, 2022: Employer pays 70% of premium, employee pays 30% of premiums.
LTD: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25% of premiums. Effective June 1, 2022: Employer pays 70% of premium, employee pays 30% of premiums.
AD&D: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25% of premiums. Effective June 1, 2022: Employer pays 70% of premium, employee pays 30% of premiums.
Life insurance: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25% of premiums. Effective June 1, 2022: Employer pays 70% of premium, employee pays 30% of premiums.
Pension: After 1 year of service, employees are required to participate in company pension plan. Employees may elect to contribute between 2% and 6% of regular wages and employer matches contribution. Employee may elect to contribute maximum 7% of regular wages and employer matches contribution after 10 years of service. Employer will provide payroll deduction services to allow employees to contribute to RRSP.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death of grandparent, parent, parent-in-law, spouse, common-law spouse, brother, sister, child, grandchild, any relative who resides with employee. 3 days for death of brother-in-law, sister-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandparent-in-law. 2 additional days if employee has to travel more than 300 kilometres 1-way.
Seniority – recall rights: 3 consecutive months when employee is on layoff.
Call-in pay: Minimum 2 hours at double time. Time may be banked.
Probationary period: 6 calendar months (with exception of seasonal employees).
Discipline: Sunset clause is 24 months for disciplinary warnings.
Safety shoes: $200 for CSA-approved steel-toed boots; $200 for CSA-approved steel-toed rubber boots every 2 years.
Mileage: $0.46 per kilometre.

Employee may also take 2 unpaid days, total of 5 days. Meetings: When employee is required to attend meetings outside regular hours of work, employee’s regular shift will have been considered started at time of meeting or employee will be paid greater of 3 hours of regular time or regular time for amount of time in attendance at meeting. Standby: Time and one-half when employee is on standby status. Overnight travel: $10 for breakfast; $12.75 for lunch; $20 for dinner. $10.60 per diem per overnight stay for incidental costs.
