Wage adjustments:

Shift premium: Lead customer sales and service agents/letter writer premium: First 12 months, 8% of employee’s current rate. After 12 months, 10% ofemployee’s current rate.
Paid holidays: 9 days (Saint-Jean-Baptiste day: Quebec; August civic holiday: other provinces).
Vacations with pay: 1 day per month, maximum 10 days to start, 10 days after 1 year, 15 days after 5 years, 20 days after 15 years, 25 days after 25 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half for hours worked after regular hours, double time after 12 hours. Time and one-half if working with less than 10 hours between shifts. Time and one-half for hours worked on first day off, double time after 12 hours. Double time for hours worked on second day off.
Dental: 100% premiums paid by employer. Maximum $2,000 per year. 90% coverage for basic dental. Maximum $3,000 for orthodontic coverage (previously $2,500) per child.
Vision: 100% premiums paid by employer. $350 every 2 years (previously $300). $360 once per lifetime for contact lens for severe corneal situations. $1,500 every 48 months for laser eye surgery.
Paramedical: Psychologists: 50% of cost, maximum $750 per person per year; $1,500 per family per year. Chiropractors, osteopaths, naturopaths, registered massage therapists, podiatrists, occupational therapists, acupuncture: $75 per visit (previously $50), maximum $1,500 per person (previously $1,000) per year; $2,400 per family (previously $2,000)per year.
Sick leave: I day per month, maximum 8 days or 64 hours.
Life insurance: Group life plan 100% premiums paid by employer: Payout 2 times salary (previously 2.5 times), maximum $100,000 coverage (previously $50,000).
Bereavement leave: 4 days (previously 3) for death in immediate family (spouse, common-law spouse, children of employee and spouse, parents of employee and spouse, grandparents of employee and spouse, grandchildren of employee and spouse, brothers and sisters of employee and spouse, other relatives residing with the employee). 10 additional unpaid days if requested.
Probationary period: 182 days.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 24 months.
Severance: 3 weeks’ pay per year, maximum 52 weeks.

Editor’s notes: Special assignments: When working a temporary assignment away from the usual workplace $0.75 per hour. Reimbursement for out-of-pocket expenses such as meals, transportation, parking. Maximum part-time workers: The number of part-time employees shall not exceed 25% of total number of employees at a location as of Dec. 31 of the previous year.
