Renewal agreement: Effective March 21, 2019 to March 31, 2020. Ratified on May 23, 2019. Signed on Aug. 27, 2019.
Shift premium: $2.25 per hour for normal shift hours worked between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. $1.50 per hour for each hour worked from midnight Friday to midnight Saturday. $2.25 per hour for each hour worked from midnight Saturday to 6 a.m. Monday.
Paid holidays: 11 days, plus 2 additional days off per year as of Jan. 1 (after 12 months of service; 1 additional day for employees who begin employment after July 1).
Vacations with pay: For employees hired after May 1, 1998: 72.5 hours to start, 108.75hours after 3 years, 145hours after 11 years, 181.25 hours after 20years. Employee with less than 3 years of service who schedules all vacation entitlement during non-peak periods (July, August and Dec. 15 to 31) will be eligible for additional 5 days to be used during non-peak periods in same year (additional days cannot be carried over to next year). For employees hired before May 1, 1998: 108.75 hours to start, 145 hours after 8 years, 181.25 hours after 16 years; 217.5hours after 25 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half for first 2 hours worked in excess of regular hours; double time thereafter. Time and one-half for all work up to equivalent of full normal daily hours; double time for additional hours worked thereafter on regularly scheduled first day of rest. Double time for all work on subsequently scheduled day of rest in that week, unless additional hours are scheduled at request of employee (overtime hours will be compensated at time and one-half). May be taken as compensating time off but must be within 6 months. Time banked between July 1 and December 31 may be carried forward to following calendar year.

Sick leave: Maximum 580consecutive working hours for general illness leave.
Bereavement leave: 36.25hours for death in immediate family (spouse (same or opposite gender including common-law who has cohabitated with employee for at least 1 year), fiancé(e), child, parent, stepparent, siblings, stepbrother, stepsister, current in-law relationships (including mother, father, brother, sister, son, daughter), grandparents, grandchildren. 7.25 hours for death of another relative, close friend or to act as pallbearer. Additional 14.5 hours for travel between 250 and 750 kilometres 1 way; 29 hours for travel in excess of 750 kilometres.
Probationary period: 6 months.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 24months.
Severance: 4 weeks’ pay after 1year of service; 8 weeks’ pay after 2 years of service; 11weeks’ pay after 3 years of service; 15 weeks’ pay after 3 years of service; 20 weeks’ pay after 5 years of service; 23weeks’ pay after 6 years of service; 26weeks’ pay after 7 years of service; 29 weeks’ pay after 8 years of service; 32 weeks’ pay after 9 years of service; 35 weeks’ pay after 10 years of service; 38 weeks’ pay after 11 years of service; 41 weeks’ pay after 12 years of service; 44 weeks’ pay after 13 years of service; 48 weeks’ pay after 14 years of service; 52 weeks’ pay after 15 years of service; 56 weeks’ pay after 21years of service; 60 weeks’ pay after 26 years of service. Maximum $1,000 plus additional $100 for each full year of continuous service for expenses for retraining, career counseling, job-search assistance for up to 6 months after termination.
