Shift premium: $1.25 per hour for employees working a full scheduled shift between closing and 9 a.m. 65¢ per hour for employees responsible for the customer service desk, the cash office or the front end supervision. $1 per hour for licensed pharmacy technicians.
Paid holidays: 10 days.
Vacations with pay: 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 5 years, 4 weeks after 10 years and 5 weeks after 20 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all hours worked beyond 40 hours per week.
Bereavement leave: 4 days for employee’s spouse, son, daughter or parent. 2 days for employee’s brother, sister, father-in-law or mother-in-law. 1 day for employee’s brother-in-law, sister-in-law, grandparent or grandchild.
Probationary period: 90 calendar days.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide up to 2 uniforms and pay for laundering.

Full-time clerks: $10.30 rising in 5 steps to $15
Meat cutters: $11 rising in 6 steps to $16
Bakers: $11 rising in 6 steps to $16
Pharmacy technicians: $11 rising in 6 steps to $16
Senior clerks: $10.80 rising in 5 steps to $16.30
Senior cutter/Baker: $11.50 rising in 6 steps to $17.20
Editor’s notes: Notice of layoff: 1 week to start, 2 weeks after 2 years of seniority, 5 weeks after 5 years of seniority and 9 weeks after 10 years of seniority. Education leave: If an employee is granted a leave of absence for educational purposes for a period of more than 110 days their seniority will be frozen for the duration of their leave.
