Shift premium: $1.25 per hour for time worked between 6 p.m. and 7 a.m. $1.25 per hour for employee assigned as charge-hand. $1.25 per hour for time worked on all tours commencing on Saturday, on second and subsequent Saturdays worked for employee who is normally scheduled to work 5 days per week or 10 days over 2-week period and who works at least one-half shift on each of successive Saturdays. $1.25 per hour language differential for employees who speak French, Tagalog, Spanish, Punjabi.
Paid holidays: 9 days, plus Louis Riel Day, Terry Fox Day, floating holiday.
Vacations with pay: 3 weeks after 1 year, 7 weeks after 34 years, for employees hired prior to June 14, 2014. 0.192 of day per week to start, 3 weeks after 2 years, 4 weeks after 6 years, 5 weeks after 14 years, 6 weeks after 21 years, for employees hired after June 13, 2014. Employee absent from duty with or without pay for accumulated period exceeding 8 weeks — excluding vacation, on-duty accidents, maternity, parental leave — during 12 months previous to Dec. 31 will have vacation period reduced proportionately for each week of absence in excess of first 8 weeks.
Overtime: Paid at double time. Overtime for clerical part-time employees will be paid when daily hours worked exceed 7 hours and 15 minutes or 36.25 hours per week. May be taken as time off in lieu, maximum 2 weeks in bank. Employee must receive payment in full for all outstanding banked overtime prior to end of each vacation year, on Dec. 31 (no carry over will be allowed).
Sick leave: After 3 months’ service: 3 days full pay; next 6 months’ service: 9 days full pay; second year of service: 21 days full pay; third year of service: 33 days full pay; fourth year of service: 45 days full pay; fifth year of service: 66 days full pay; sixth year of service: 88 days full pay; seventh year of service: 110 days full pay; eighth year of service: 132 days full pay; ninth year of service: 154 days full pay; tenth year of service: 176 days full pay. Every year thereafter, on anniversary of their net credited service date, providing there was no paid sick leave, employee would accumulate credits, maximum 22 days for each year of service, but not to exceed maximum of 176 days.
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (employee’s spouse or common-law partner, employee’s father and mother and employee’s spouse or common-law partner of father or mother; employee’s children and children of employee’s spouse or common-law partner; employee’s grandchildren; employee’s brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; grandfather and grandmother of employee; father and mother of spouse or common-law partner of employee and spouse or common-law partner of father or mother; any relative of employee who resides with employee. Where exceptional circumstances arise, employee may be allowed maximum 1 calendar week.
Seniority – recall rights: 2 years after layoff (seniority will continue to accumulate for 120 days on layoff and then be suspended until recall).
Call-in pay: Minimum 2 hours of pay. Call-in for immediate reporting to job will be paid for at applicable rate from time employee is called and will continue after completion of job for period necessary to travel home (overtime other than for immediate reporting will be paid from time employee arrives on job to time leaving job). Clerical employee who is required to work overtime for minimum of 2 hours preceding regular tour of duty or minimum 2 hours continuing after regular tour of duty, will be allowed paid 20-minute relief period which will be counted as time worked.
Probationary period: 6 calendar months of service to determine suitability for engagement as regular fulltime; 6 accumulated months of service for engagement as clerical regular part-time or clerical part-time.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 2 years for letters or references of disciplinary nature.
Severance: 1 week of pay per year of service for first 5 years of employment; 2 weeks’ per year of service thereafter, combined total maximum 35 weeks of pay. In addition to severance pay, employee will receive 2 weeks’ notice or pay in lieu of notice.

Editor’s notes: Travel time: When employee is required by employer to spend time travelling by air, outside normally scheduled working hours, outside Manitoba, compensation at rate of time and one-half will be paid for: 1 hour prior to flight time; duration of flight; 1 hour following flight time. Board and lodging: When employee who is temporarily reassigned or on employer-related course, employer will supply lodging (if required by employee) and meals: $11.75 (previously $11.15) for breakfast; $16.80 (previously $16) for lunch; $24.75 (previously $23.65) for supper; $8.60 (previously $8.15) for incidentals. $50 subsistence allowance will be provided under extraordinary circumstances, when employee is required to stay overnight at CDO or radio shack. Personal leave days: Regular full-time employees hired prior to June 14, 2014 will be entitled to accrue 5 personal leave days each calendar year. Newly hired full-time employees hired after June 14, 2014 will be entitled to accrue 3 personal leave days each calendar year. Paid education leave: Employer will pay $58.50 per year for full-time employees and $36 per year for part-time employees (previously $39 per year for full-time employees and $24 per year for part-time employees) into special fund to provide for Unifor-paid education leave program.
