Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2015, to Dec. 31, 2017.
Wage adjustments:
Effective Jan. 1, 2016: 3.5%
Effective Jan. 1, 2017: 3.5%
Paid holidays: 10 days. Time and one-half for all employees working on a named holiday. All employees with more than 3 years of service shall receive as vacation pay and in lieu of holiday pay the amount equal to 10% of employee’s total earnings.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all hours worked in excess of 44 per week.
Dental: 100% reimbursement for basic, endodontic and periodontic services, up to $1,500 per individual.
AD&D: $25,000.
Life insurance: $25,000. $10,000 for spouse.
Pension: 3% contributed each by employee and employer after 1 year of service. 5% after 3 years of service, 6% after 5 years of service, 7% after 10 years of service.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for the death of an employee’s wife, husband, mother, father, brother, sister, son or daughter. 2 days for the death of an employee’s grandparent, mother-in-law, father-in-law, grandchild, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, son-in-law or daughter-in-law.
Probationary period: 3 months.
Uniforms/clothing: Up to $500 per year for the purchase of safety boots, tools or work-wear. Unclaimed allowance will not carry forward. Up to $400 per year for employees with less than 3 years of service.
Tool allowance: All tradesmen to supply their own hand tools. Consumable items, such as drill bits, to be replaced as needed by employer. Up to $500 made available as interest-free loan from employer for employees to purchase tools, repaid through paycheck reduction of $25 per pay period.
Mileage: Free travel zone for all jobs inside GTA, including Toronto, York and Peel regions, Durham and Halton. When travel for a job is required beyond the free zone, and 50 km beyond employee’s residence, employer and union to meet and discuss appropriate travel pay.

Senior licensed journeyman: $36.96 per hour
Electrician licensed journeyman: $34.72
