Renewal agreement: Effective June 16, 2018 to June 16, 2023. Signed on June 16, 2018.
Wage adjustments:
Effective June 18, 2018: base rate will be increased $1.09 COLA and then by 2%
Effective June 18, 2019: 1.5%
Effective June 18, 2020: 2%
Effective June 18, 2021: 1.5%
Effective June 18, 2022: 2%
Shift premium: $1 per hour to all employees on regularly scheduled shift that begins between 1 p.m. and 3 a.m. $1 per hour for employee assigned as lead-hand. $2 per hour for employee assigned as team lead.
Paid holidays: 9 hours plus 5winter-holiday days.
Vacations with pay: 80hours after 1 year, 128 hours after 5years, 168 hours after 10years, 176 hours after 25years. When employee does not use all or part of vacation during year between vacation eligibility dates, employee will receive pay in lieu of any remaining unused vacation credits after reaching next eligibility date.
Overtime: Time and one-half for hours worked after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week. Double time for all work after 48 hours per week.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Vision: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Weekly indemnity: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Sick leave: After 1 year of active service employee will be credited with 3.33 hours of leave for each month of service, maximum 10 days of accumulation. When employee accumulates more than 10 days, employee will be paid amount equal to unused leave on anniversary date.
AD&D: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Pension: Retirement Plan for Employees of Boeing Canada Operations Limited or DC plan.
Bereavement leave: 4 days for death in immediate family (spouse, same-sex partner, children (children will include miscarriage or stillbirth by employee or current spouse), parents, grandparents, brother, sister, in-laws of same relationship to employee’s spouse, spouse of brother or sister and children, stepparents, stepparent of current spouse, stepchild, stepsister, stepbrother, grandchildren of employee).
Seniority – recall rights: 5years for layoffs; 18 months for current non-bargaining unit employees who have bargaining unit seniority rights and after transfer of bargaining-unit employees to non-bargaining-unit positions.
Call-in pay: Minimum of 4 hours’ pay at applicable straight-time hourly rate.
Probationary period: 90working days.
Severance: 1 week of pay (40hours at employee’s base rate plus cost of living adjustment in effect on date of layoff but excluding shift differentials or other premiums) for each year of service, maximum 26weeks of pay.
Safety shoes: $100 per year for approved safety shoes to all employees who require safety shoes in workplace, regardless of work area or work function. Employees may combine 2years for $200 entitlement.

All bargaining unit employees at work as of June 17, 2018 (and those on authorized leave of absence as of June 17, 2018 and who return on or before June 16, 2019) will receive 1-time lump-sum production bonus of $10,000, less required minimum statutory deductions.
Editor’s notes: Medical documentation reimbursement: Employer will reimburse employee for any employer-required medical documentation, maximum $90 (previously $70). Paid education leave fund: Employer will pay $0.03 per hour per employee for all compensated hours for aerospace paid education leave. Prescription safety glasses: Employer will provide first pair of prescription safety glasses for employees who require prescription safety glasses in workplace for duration of employment. Employer will also replace prescription lenses (basic lenses with no add-ons not required for work) every 2 rolling calendar years. Social justice fund: Employer will pay $0.01 per hour per employee for all compensated hours into Unifor social justice fund.
