Renewal agreement: Effective Sept. 21, 2018 to Sept. 20, 2022. Signed on July 2, 2019.
Shift premium: $0.25 per hour (increasing to $0.30 per hour in year 4) for all shifts crossing over midnight. $1 per hour worked on all-off runs.
Paid holidays: 11 days.
Vacations with pay: 1 day per month or 4%, maximum 10 days, to start 2 weeks or 4% after 1 year, 3 weeks or 6% after 5 years, 4 weeks or 8% after 11 years, 5 weeks or 10% after 18 years. Employees entitled to 3, 4, or 5 weeks of vacation entitlement will have option of requesting payouts: 1 week’s pay for 3 weeks of entitlement; 2 weeks’ pay for 4 weeks of entitlement; 3 weeks’ pay for 5 weeks of entitlement.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 8, 10 or 13 hours per day or 40 hours per week.
Medical benefits: Employer will contribute $311.37 per year (previously $306.37 per year) to Prairie Teamsters Health and Welfare Plan. Effective Jan. 1, 2021: $316.37 per year. Effective Jan. 1, 2022: $321.37 per year.
Sick leave: 4 hours (5 hours per month if on modified work schedule) per month, maximum 48 hours (60 hours if on modified work schedule), per year.
Pension: Employer will pay employees’ contribution required under Canada Pension Plan. Employer will contribute $2.71 per hour to Teamster Prairie Provinces Pension Plan (amount will increase by $0.10 per year every Sept. 21 for duration of agreement).
Bereavement leave: 3 days (within 30 days following date of death) for death in immediate family (parents, spouse’s parents, spouse, grandparents, children, brother, sister, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, grandchildren). If employee suffers death of brother-in-law, sister-in-law, condition of article will apply only if employee attends funeral. 2 additional unpaid days for employees who are required to travel 400 kilometres or more round trip. 1 day for death of aunt, uncle.
Seniority – recall rights: 60 days for employee who has been promoted to new classification within division; 6 months for employee promoted to non-bargaining unit position on employer’s payroll; 1 year for laid off employees.
Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours of pay at time and one-half.
Probationary period: First 90 calendar days from first shift worked (excluding Basic Blue training) or 200 hours worked, whichever is greater.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 1 year for simple letter of warning, disciplinary letters, not involving suspensions; 14 months for incidents causing suspensions.
Safety shoes: $120 every 2 years. Safety footwear must be black, and in compliance with employer’s uniform and appearance policy. CIT (cash in transit) employees may utilize tactical-style footwear that complies with requirements.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will furnish uniforms for employees as required. All uniform items, including shirts, will be replaced on 1-for-1 exchange basis as required. Coveralls will be provided in garage when required. Rain gear will be provided when washing trucks. All-off, all CIT (armoured and ATM) employees will be provided with bullet-resistant vest (previously employer reimbursed employees 50% of cost for vests, maximum $325).

Editor’s notes: Travel outside city: $51 (increasing $1 each Jan. 1 thereafter) for each night spent away for employees who stays overnight at location outside of Winnipeg. Employee will be provided with clean, comfortable lodging (single occupancy).
