Renewal agreement: Effective June 1, 2015, to May 31, 2017. Signed on Aug. 28, 2015.
Wage adjustments:
Effective June 1, 2015: 1%
Shift premium: $1 per hour when shifts starts between 1:59 p.m. and 4:59 a.m.
Paid holidays: 11 days.
Vacations with pay: 2 weeks after 1 year of service, 3 weeks after 3 years of service, 4 weeks after 12 years of service.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all hours worked in excess of 8 per day, Monday to Saturday. Double time for all overtime work on a Sunday or statutory holiday.
Medical benefits: Prairie Teamsters Health and Welfare Plan.
Pension: Burnco RRSP: Up to 6% contributed by employee, to be matched by employer.
Bereavement leave: 3 days for the death of an employee’s spouse, mother, father, sons, daughters, sisters, brothers, grandchildren, legal dependents and corresponding common-law or step-relations. 1 day for the death of an employee’s extended family, defined as mother-in-law, father-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, grandparents and corresponding common-law and step-relations. Employees must have at least 1 year of service to be eligible for time off.
Seniority – recall rights: 6 months.
Probationary period: 3 months. Period may be extended at discretion of manager.
Safety shoes: Up to $100 per year.
Mileage: 45¢ per kilometre.
