Renewal agreement: Effective April 1, 2017, to March 31, 2020. Signed on Feb. 28, 2018.
Shift premium: $1 per hour (previously $0.50 per hour) above classification rate for lead-hands. $0.70 per hour for shift beginning after 4 p.m. or before 4 a.m. $1.15 per hour for all work on Sunday. 
Paid holidays: 12 days. 
Vacations with pay: 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 3 years, 4 weeks after 8 years, 5 weeks after 15 years, 6 weeks after 20 years. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work during four-day rest period, double time on fourth day. Time and one-half for all work after 40 hours per week. Double time for all work after 11 hours per day. 
Meal allowance: $15 after 2 hours of overtime. 
Vision: $300 every 24 months per employee and for each of employee’s dependants.
Sick leave: 40 hours on Dec. 1 of each year. Unused sick pay will be paid out on first pay period following Dec. 1 each year. 
STD: 70% of basic weekly wage.
LTD: 65% of basic wages after 3 years of service.
AD&D: Coverage of $100,000.
Life insurance: Coverage of $100,000.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death of spouse, children. 3 days for death of members of household, parents, brothers, sisters, grandparents, mother-in-law, father-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, stepparent, stepchildren, stepsibling. 1 day for death of niece, nephews. 1 day to attend funeral as pallbearer. 
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months or 24 months after 5 years of seniority. 
Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours’ pay at time and one-half, except when call-in occurs on second assigned day off and is longer than 4 hours, in which case double time for all hours worked.
Probationary period: 1,040 hours within any 12-month period.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 2 years.
Severance: 1 week’s pay per year of service; 2 weeks’ pay per year of service after 9 years of service; 3 weeks’ pay per year of service after 15 years of service, maximum 52 weeks’ pay.
Safety shoes: $200 paid on April 1 of each contract year (previously $150).
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will supply rubber boots, waterproof suits for washing purposes. Employer will provide outdoor clothing (insulated parkas, insulated coveralls, uniforms).
Sample rates of hourly pay (current, after $1.27-per-hour increase):
Student: $15.81 rising 2 steps to $17.08
Probationer: $20.59 rising 2 steps to $21.86
Operator: $28.38 rising 2 steps to $29.65
Maintenance: $31.32 rising 2 steps to $32.59

24 months: 80%
30 months: 85%
36 months: 90%
42 months: 95%
48 months: 100%
Editor’s notes: Maintenance on-call: Employee carrying maintenance cellphone will be compensated with pay equaling 2 call-ins. Training fund: Employer will contribute $250 per year to UFCW Local 175 Training and Education Fund.
