Renewal agreement: Effective April 1, 2013, to March 31, 2017. Signed on Jan. 29, 2013.

Wage adjustments:

Effective April 1, 2013: 1.4%

Effective April 1, 2014: 1.4%

Effective April 1, 2015: 1.4%

Effective April 1, 2016: 1.4%

Shift premium: $2 per hour for employees working between 12 a.m. Friday and 12 a.m. Saturday when the Saturday is scheduled as part of the employee’s regular work week. $1.20 per hour for all time worked between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. 90¢ per hour for on-the-job trainers.

Paid holidays: 13 days.

Vacations with pay: 1 1/4 days per month worked to start, 3 weeks after 1 year, 4 weeks after 4 years, 5 weeks after 10 years and 6 weeks after 25 years.

Overtime: Time and one-half for all time worked in excess of regularly scheduled hours. Double time for all hours worked on Sunday. Time and one-half effective March 31, 2017.

Meal allowance: $7.45 for breakfast, $11 for lunch and $16 for dinner.

Sick leave: 37.5 hours.

Bereavement leave: 5 days for employee’s spouse, child, father, mother, brother, sister, legal guardian, grandparent, grandchild, father-in-law, mother-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, stepparent or stepchild. 1 day for employee’s brother-in-law, sister-in-law, uncle, aunt, nephew or niece.

Seniority – recall rights: 1 year.

Call-in pay: 4 hours’ pay at regular rate or time and one-half for all hours worked, whichever is greater.

Probationary period: 5 months.

Severance: 1 week’s pay per year of service to a maximum of 26 weeks for employees hired before Jan. 29, 2015. 2 weeks’ pay per year of service to a maximum of 52 weeks for employees hired after Jan. 29, 2015.

Safety shoes: $100 every 2 years for the purchase of safety shoes.

Uniforms/clothing: $175 per year for uniforms. $55 per year for cleaning.

Editor’s notes: Training: 6 months. Layoff: 3 weeks’ notice to start, 4 months’ notice for employees with at least 1 year of seniority, 8 months’ notice for employees with 5 years of seniority, 10 months’ notice for employees with 10 years of seniority and 14 months’ notice for employees with 20 years of seniority. Retroactivity: Employees who terminated their employment between April 1, 2013, and Jan. 29, 2015, will be entitled to retroactivity. The employer will pay the retroactive wages within 90 days of the agreement’s ratification. This does not apply to employees who were discharged for cause. On-call pay: $2.75 per hour Monday to Saturday and $3.25 per hour on Sunday. Pyramiding: There will be no pyramiding of overtime or premium pay. Pregnancy leave: 17 unpaid weeks. Parental leave: 37 weeks or 35 weeks if employee took pregnancy leave. Special leave: 25 paid hours to attend medical, dental and legal appointments that cannot be arranged outside of working hours. Marriage leave: 3 paid days for employee’s marriage.
