Renewal agreement: Effective April 1, 2022 to March 31, 2026. Signed on July 28, 2023.

Wage adjustments:

Effective April 1, 2022: 6%

Effective April 1, 2023: 2%

Effective April 1, 2024: 2%

Effective April 1, 2025: 2.6%

Paid holidays: 11 days, including National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Vacations with pay: 1 1/4 days per month to start, 1 2/3 days per month after 5 years, 1 11/12 days per month after 10 years, 2 1/12 days per month after 14 years, 2 1/2 days per month after 21 days, 2 2/3 days per month after 28 years.

Overtime: Time and one-half. Time and one-half for first 7.5 hours; double time thereafter for employee who work overtime on first day of rest. Double time for all hours worked on second consecutive day of rest.

Medical benefits: Government of Canada Public Service Health Care plan.

Sick leave: 1 1/4 days for each month.

Bereavement leave: 5 days for death in immediate family (father, mother, stepfather, stepmother, foster-parent, brother, sister, stepbrother, stepsister, spouse, common-law partner resident with employee, child, child of common-law partner, stepchild, foster-child, ward of employee, grandchild, grandparent, spouse’s parents, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, brother in-law, sister-in-law, any relative residing in employee’s household). 1 day for death of niece, nephew, aunt, uncle.

Call-in pay: Greater of minimum of 3 hours of pay at applicable overtime rate of pay or compensation at applicable rate of overtime compensation for time worked.

Probationary period: 6 months from date of hire (employer may extend period for up to 3 additional months if employee is not able to meet performance expectations during initial probationary period).

Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months for warning; 18 months for suspension.

Severance: On first layoff, 2 weeks’ pay for first year of employment and 1 week’s pay for each additional year of employment. On second or subsequent layoffs, 1 week’s pay for each year of employment.
