Renewal agreement: Effective April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2026. Signed on April 1, 2023.

Shift premium: $1 per hour when employee possessing valid industrial first-aid certificate is employed as first-aid attendant.

Paid holidays: 11 days, including National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve will not be considered holidays however any employee working after 4 p.m. on either day will be paid triple time for contracted hourly rate thereafter.

Overtime: Time and one-half for hours worked after 8 hours in days 1 through 5; double time after 12 hours in 1 day; triple time for work performed after 15 hours worked. Double time for first 8 hours of work when employee work seventh consecutive day in workweek or any other period of 7 consecutive days; triple time for work performed after 8 hours worked.

Meal allowance: $30 to all employees who work more than 10 hours in 1 day.

Bereavement leave: 1 day per production for death of family member.

Mileage: $0.45 per kilometre (previously $0.35 per kilometre) when employee uses vehicle in employer business.

Editor’s notes: Parking: Whenever employer does not provide transportation and employees use personal vehicles to transport themselves to any type of location, employer will provide secure or supervised parking or reimburse each employee for parking fees on same day fees are incurred. Per diem: On distant locations — except resorts, within any province or territory — employee will be paid in advance per diem allowance, minimum $70 (previously $65). However, if meals are provided by employer, allowance may be reduced: $15 for breakfast; $20 for lunch; $30 for dinner. Dollar amounts will be payable in U.S. dollars when in U.S. CMPA administration fee: 2% of all gross remuneration paid to employees, maximum $4,750 for feature film or movie of week, pilot or part of mini-series or $2,375 per episode of series, will be paid to CMPA.
