Renewal agreement: Effective Nov. 1, 2020 to Nov. 1, 2025. Signed on April 1, 2021.
Shift premium: 5% for load if driver preloads extra work on sixth or seventh day; 10% if driver preloads and delivers extra work in that week.
Paid holidays: 10 days.
Vacations with pay: 4% to start, 6% after 6 years, 8% after 10 years. Additional unpaid 5 days’ vacation will be made available to drivers that have more than 3 years’ continuous service.
Overtime: Time may be banked.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Pension: Employees with greater than 90 days service may contribute $50 per week and employer will match contribution into RRSP/deferred profit sharing plan (DPSP) program. Employees with greater than 2 years of service may contribute $75 per week and employer will match contribution. Employees with greater than 4 years of service may contribute up to $100 per week and employer will match contribution.
Seniority – recall rights: 180 calendar days for employees promoted to supervisory positions or those positions not subject to agreement.
Probationary period: 90 calendar days from date of employment.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 18 months for disciplinary measures, infractions of rules and regulations; 3 years for accidents.
Safety shoes: Drivers will be permitted to order from designated catalogue or use clothing allowance to purchase approved steel toe boots with reinforcement of 6 inches (CSA, green patch approved) and be reimbursed. Combined total maximum $300 per year.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide drivers with 3 pairs of safety-marked coveralls. Employer will provide $300 per year (previously $200 per year) clothing allowance

Effective Nov. 1, 2024: $2,000 pro-rated for new hires
Editor’s notes: Waiting time: Waiting time will be paid to owner/operators at $60 per hour. 407/ETR tolls: Employer pay 50% of 407/ETR tolls, maximum $300 per driver per monthly 407/ETR statement, provided truck monthly revenue is greater than $27,600. IFTA reporting: Owner/operators will be charged $27 plus HST per month for International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA) reporting. Driver damage claim bonuses: Amount is percentage of monthly revenue generated by driver with related percentage used being based in scale related to damages: 3.5% for $0 to $100 in damages; 2.5% for $101 to $300 in damages; 1.75% for $301 to $500 in damages; 1% for $501 to $1000 in damages; disqualified for 1 quarter for more than $1,000 in damages; disqualified for 1 year for more than $4,000 in damages.
