Renewal agreement: Effective April 1, 2016, to March 31, 2019. Signed on April 7, 2017.
Wage adjustments:
Effective April 1, 2016: 1%
Effective April 1, 2017: 1.35%
Effective April 1, 2018: 1.5%
Shift premium: $1.26 per hour (previously $1.11 per hour) for work on afternoon shift. $1.32 per hour (previously $1.17 per hour) for work on night shift. Effective April 1, 2018: Shift differentials will increase by $0.02 per hour.
Paid holidays: 12 days.
Vacations with pay: 3 weeks or 6% after 1 year, 4 weeks or 8% after 4 years, 5 weeks or 10% after 9 years, 6 weeks or 12% after 19 years, 7 weeks or 14% after 24 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half for the first hour. Double time, minimum 4 hours’ work on Sundays. May be banked, maximum 1 week.
Meal allowance: $12.15 (previously $11.87) when working more than 2 hours’ overtime. Additional $12.15 when working more than 5 hours’ overtime. Effective April 1, 2018: $12.33.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums for Manulife (or equivalent) insurance coverage.
Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums for Manulife (or equivalent) insurance coverage.
Vision: Employer pays 100% of premiums for Manulife (or equivalent) insurance coverage. $390 every 24 months. 1 eye examination every 24 months, maximum $85.

Physiotherapist: $300 per year, then $12.20 per visit. Clinical psychologist: $380 per year. Speech pathologist: $380 per year. Osteopath: $180 per year. Podiatrist/chiropodist: $180 per year. Naturopath: $180 per year. Nutritional counselling by a dietitian: $180 per year.

Third day of bereavement leave of absence for death of son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law will be deducted from employee’s accumulated sick leave credits. Additional 2 days for travel more than 200 kilometres.
