Wage adjustments:
Effective Jan. 1, 2015: 1.5%

Shift premium: 25¢ per hour for water distribution operator classification employees with a Level 2 certificate. An additional 50¢ per hour for water distribution operator classification employees with a Level 3 certificate. 85¢ per hour for all time worked during the afternoon shift. $1 per hour for all time worked during the night shift. 85¢ per hour for all time worked during the weekend. $3 per hour for employees acting as trainers.
Paid holidays: 11 days.
Vacations with pay: 2 weeks and 2 days after 1 year of service, 3 weeks and 2 days after 2 years, 4 weeks and 2 days after 6 years, 4 weeks and 4 days after 9 years, 5 weeks and 2 days after 13 years, 5 weeks and 3 days after 16 years, 5 weeks and 4 days after 18 years, 6 weeks after 19 years, 6 weeks and 1 day after 20 years, 6 weeks and 2 days after 23 years, 7 weeks and 2 days after 26 years and 8 weeks after 30 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half for the first 4 hours of overtime and double time for all hours thereafter. Time and one-half for the first 12 hours worked on Saturday and double time for all hours thereafter. Double time for all hours worked on Sunday.
Meal allowance: $8 after 2 hours of overtime.
LTD: 66 2/3% of regular monthly earnings. Benefits commence 6 months from the date disability began.
AD&D: $75,000.
Life insurance: Double annual salary at time of retirement or termination, rounded to the nearest $1,000.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for employee’s spouse, parent, stepparent, foster parent, parent-in-law, child, stepchild, foster child, sibling, grandparent, stepgrandparent, grandchild, stepgrandchild, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law or sister-in-law. 5 unpaid days for the purpose of travel if the ceremony takes place out of province.
Seniority – recall rights: 10 months.
Call-in pay: Minimum 1 hour at time and one-half. Minimum 1 hour at double time when employee is called in on a Sunday or statutory holiday.
Probationary period: 6 months.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 2 years.
Safety shoes: Employer provides 1 pair of winter safety boots and 1 pair of summer safety boots.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer provides safety glasses, hearing protection, rubber gloves and rubber boots or overshoes.
Tool allowance: $74 for apprentice, small equipment technician, welder, machinist, fleet technician, lead hand welder and lead hand motor technician employees.
