Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2014, to Dec. 31, 2016. Signed on May 26, 2015.

Wage adjustments:

Effective Jan. 1, 2014: 1.9%

Effective Jan. 1, 2015: 2%

Effective Jan. 1, 2016: 2%

Paid holidays: 12 days.

Vacations with pay: 3 weeks to start, 4 weeks after 5 years, 5 weeks after 16 ears, 6 weeks after 22 years and 7 weeks after 30 years.

Overtime: Regular rate of pay for the first 4 hours of overtime and time and one-half for all overtime thereafter for employees working a 35-hour week. Time and one-half for all overtime hours worked for employees working a 40-hour week.

Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums.

Dental: Employer pays 75% of monthly premium.

LTD: Employer pays 100% of monthly premium. Benefit is 75% of employee’s monthly earnings to a maximum of $14,000 per month. Benefit commences 17 weeks after initial date of disability.

AD&D: Employer pays 100% of monthly premium. Benefit is 2 times the employee’s annual earnings to a maximum of $700,000.

Life insurance: Employer pays 75% of monthly premium. Benefit is 2.5 times the employee’s annual earnings to a maximum of $700,000.

Bereavement leave: 5 days for employee’s father, mother, brother, sister, spouse, child, father-in-law, mother-in-law, grandparent, grandchild or legal guardian. 3 days for employee’s son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law or sister-in-law. 1 day for spouse’s grandparent.

Call-in pay: Time and one-half for all hours worked or 3 hours’ pay at regular rate, whichever is greater.

Probationary period: 6 months.

Discipline: Sunset clause is 18 months.

Safety shoes: $130 per year.

Mileage: 53¢ per km.

Pay grade 1: $31.84 rising in 5 steps to $38.31

Pay grade 2: $33.69 rising in 5 steps to $40.99

Pay grade 3: $36.05 rising in 5 steps to $43.86

Pay grade 4: $38.57 rising in 5 steps to $46.93

Pay grade 5: $42.08 rising in 5 steps to $51.21

Pay grade 6: $45.91 rising in 5 steps to $55.86

Pay grade 7: $51.61 rising in 5 steps to $62.79

Editor’s notes: On call: 1 hour’s pay at regular rate per 8 hours on call. Pregnancy leave: 15 weeks. Parental leave: 12 weeks.
