Renewal agreement: Effective July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2025. Signed on June 8, 2022.
Shift premium: $1 per hour when plant is operating on employee’s steam ticket. $0.25 per hour for level 1 qualified employee who is scheduled as first-aid attendant on shift which statutorily requires first-aid attendant.
Paid holidays: 12 days.
Vacations with pay: 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 5 years, 4 weeks after 10 years, 5 weeks after 18 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after regularly scheduled shift; all work after 40 hours per week (45 hours for drivers scheduled for irregular runs). Double time after 3 hours of overtime after regularly scheduled shift; double time after 8 hours of overtime on other days. Employees may elect to bank overtime, maximum 100 straight-time hours. Unused time will be paid out on termination.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums (previously employer contributed $160 per month).
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (spouse, child, grandchild, mother, father, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother, sister, grandparent, great-grandchild). 1 day for death in extended family (stepfather, stepmother, stepchild).
Seniority – recall rights: One-half length of service to 12 months after 45 working days; one-half length of service, maximum 12 months, after 12 months of service.
Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours’ pay at regular rate.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months for all discipline, except suspension or discharge.
Severance: 1 week’s pay per year of service, maximum 18 weeks of pay.
Safety shoes: Employer will supply and maintain coveralls for plant employees.
