Renewal agreement: Effective Feb. 1, 2026 to Jan. 31, 2029
Paid holidays: New Year's Day, Family Day, Labour Day, Good Friday, Thanksgiving Day, Victoria Day, Christmas Day, Canada Day, Boxing Day, Heritage Day, Remembrance Day
Overtime: 1.5 times regular hourly wage
Mileage reimbursement: $0.50 per kilometre
Living out allowance: $150 per day; meal allowance $70 per day
Employee benefits: Benefit plan, Christian Labour Association of Canada Group Retirement Savings Plan, Christian Labour Association of Canada Pension Plan, Education Fund, Training Fund; prescription safety eyewear
Bereavement leave: 3 days for immediate family if directly involved in making funeral arrangements or attending funeral (spouse, common law spouse, child, legal dependent, parents, parents-in-law, legal guardian, brother, brother-in-law, sister, sister-in-law, grandparents, and grandchildren)
Probationary period: 90 days
Tools, safety hats, safety eyewear: provided by employer
Boot allowance: $200 per year
Sample rates of pay (as of July 5, 2026):
- Level 2 technician (1 or more certificates): $55.78 rising 2 steps to $58.75
- Level 1 technician (1 or more certificates): $45.36 rising 2 steps to $47.77
- Certified exposure device operator: $36.16 rising 2 steps to $38.09
