Renewal agreement: Effective Oct. 1, 2025 to Sept. 30, 2028; signed Oct. 17, 2025
Paid holidays: New Year's Day, Family Day, Labour Day, Good Friday, Thanksgiving Day, Victoria Day, Christmas Day, Canada Day, Boxing Day
Vacations with pay: 2 weeks for 1 to 4 years of service; 3 weeks for 5 to 9 years; 4 weeks for 10+ years of service
Personal/sick days: 6 per year for full-time employees; 2 for part-time employees
Overtime: 1.5 times regular hourly wage in excess of 40 hours per week
Employee benefits: Workers United Canada Benefit Trust Fund; company contributes 65%, employee contributes 35%; $250 for eyeglasses/eye exam every 2 years
Pension: employer contributes:
- Existing: $0.20 per hour worked
- 2026: $0.25 per hour worked
- 2027: $0.35 per hour worked
Bereavement leave: 5 days for immediate family (parents, parents-in-law, stepparents, spouse, child, siblings, legal guardians/wards, stepchildren, grandparents, siblings-in-law) and miscarriages, still births; 1 day for aunts, uncles, cousins
Probationary period: 60 days
Discipline: Sunset clause of 12 months
Safety shoes: $125 per year
Uniforms/clothing: employer provides required uniforms (4 shirts, 1 winter coat, 2 pairs of pants for $100 total for full-time employees; 2 shirts, 1 paid of pants, 1 winter coat for part-time employees)
