Paid holidays: New Year's Day, Family Day, Labour Day, Good Friday, Thanksgiving Day, Victoria Day, Christmas Day, Canada Day, Boxing Day, Civic Holiday, Truth and Reconciliation Day, Remembrance Day

Vacations with pay: 3 weeks after 3 years’ service; 4 weeks after 9 years, 5 weeks after 18 years; 2 personal days per year

Overtime: 1.5 times regular hourly wage after 40-hour work week; double time for excess of 13 continuous hours

Shift premium: $1.05 for all hours worked between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m., effective Oct. 31, 2027, shift premium rate will become $1.10

Probationary period: 6 months

Discipline: Sunset clause of 12 months; 24 months for safety violations; 36 months for safety violation suspensions

Tool allowance: $425 per year for maintenance employees, boiler room operators; $140 for crush and edible oils facility operators

Safety footwear: $250 per year

  • Operator I: $41.92 rising 2 steps to $45.56
  • Operating engineer, Class III: $43.11 rising 2 steps to $46.85
