Renewal agreement: Effective Sept. 1, 2025 to Aug. 31, 2028; signed Sept. 30, 2025
Paid holidays: New Year's Day, Family Day, Labour Day, Good Friday, Thanksgiving Day, Victoria Day, Christmas Day, Canada Day, Boxing Day, Civic Holiday, Day Before Christmas, Day Before New Year’s
Vacations with pay: 2 weeks for 1 to 4 years of service; 3 weeks for 5 to 9 years; 4 weeks for 10-14 years; five weeks for 15+ years
Overtime: 1.5 times regular hourly wage after 40-hour work week; 1.5 times for Saturdays after full week; two times basic wage rate for Sundays
Employee benefits: Life insurance: $60,000; dependent life insurance: spouse $8,000, child $4,000; LTD: 66.67% of monthly earnings; dental: basic 100%; accident coverage: 100%; major: 75%; orthodontic: 75%; vision: $325 every 24 months; retirement savings plan
Bereavement leave: 5 days for spouse, mother, father, son, daughter; 3 days for any other member of immediate family
Probationary period: 120 days
Discipline: Sunset clause of 24 months
Safety shoes: $375 every 2 years; $400 for orthotics/orthopaedic shoes every year; prescription safety glasses $175 every 2 years
Uniforms/clothing: employer provided
Sample rates of pay (current, after increase):
- Shipper/receiver: $26.01, rising 2 steps to $27.61
- Welder: $27.40, rising 2 steps to $30.61
- Service mechanic: $41.95, rising 2 steps to $46.86
