Renewal agreement: Effective Sept. 23, 2025 to Sept. 22, 2027; signed Oct. 21, 2025

Shift premium: $2 per hour

Paid holidays: New Year's Day, Family Day, Labour Day, Good Friday, Thanksgiving Day, Victoria Day, Christmas Day, Canada Day, Boxing Day, Heritage Day, Remembrance Day

Vacations with pay: 80 hours after 1 year of service; 120 hours after 5 years of service; 160 hours after 10 years of service

Overtime: 1.5 times regular hourly wage

Employee benefits: Group health and medical plans, employer pays 100% of monthly premium costs

Pension: Monthly contributions from employer

Bereavement leave: 3 days for death of immediate family member, defined as spouse, common law spouse, child, sibling or parent; 1 day for death of in-laws (mother, father, sister, brother) and grandparents

Probationary period: 90 days

Discipline: Sunset clause of 24 months

Safety shoes: $250 after 1 year, then every 2 years

Uniforms/clothing: Coveralls, leather vests, CSA-approved gloves

Sample rates of pay (current, after increase):

  • Foreperson, $51.50, rising 1 step to $52.53
  • Lead hand, $48.41, rising 1 step to $49.38
  • Machine operator A, $39.14, rising 1 step to $39.92
  • Table operator A, $39.14, rising 1 step to $39.92
