Paid holidays: 11 days.
Vacations with pay: 2 weeks plus 2 days after 1 year, 3 weeks plus 2 days after 2 years, 4 weeks plus 2 days after 6 years, 5 weeks plus 2 days after 14 years, 5 weeks plus 3 days after 16 years, 5 weeks plus 4 days after 18 years, 6 weeks after 19 years, 6 weeks plus 1 day after 20 years, 6 weeks plus 2 days after 23 years, 7 weeks plus 2 days after 26 years.
Overtime: Time-and-a-half for the first 4 hours of work beyond the normal work day. Double time for hours in excess of 4 beyond the normal work day. Time-and-a-half for all hours worked on Saturday by employees who normally work Monday to Friday. Double time for all hours worked on Sunday. Time-and-a-half for all hours worked on first scheduled day off and double time for second day off.
Meal allowance: $8 for employees required to work at least 2 hours of overtime beyond their daily schedule.
Medical Benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums for extended health care plan.
Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums for dental care plan under current ODA schedule. $1,000 per person per calendar year. Lifetime maximum of $1,500 per child.
Vision: $450 every 24 months. $250 lifetime maximum for contact lenses.
Short-term disability: 26 weeks at 66 2/3% of pay to start. After one year of services, 100% of pay accrued at the rate of one week of 100% benefit for each 12-month absence-free period.
Long-term disability: 66 2/3% of normal monthly earnings for total disablement before age 65.
Alcohol and substance abuse policy:
Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums for Group Life Insurance coverage of 2 times annual basic earnings of the employee rounded to the nearest thousand.
Bereavement leave: 5 paid days for death of spouse, common-law spouse, same-sex partner, parent, step-parent, adopted or foster parent of employee or spouse, child, step-child, foster child, grandparent, step-grandparent, grandchild, step-grandchild, spouse of child, sibling, or sibling in law.
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months.
Call-in pay: Minimum of 4 hours.
Probationary period: 900 working hours.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 24 months.
Safety shoes: One pair of CSA-approved shoes to all employees required to wear such shoes or boots. One pair of insulated safety boots for employees required to work outside during the winter months. One parka for each porter/storeperson.
Uniforms/clothing: Protective clothing required under OHSA provided to all employees. $200 per year to all full-time nursing staff, dietary staff, housekeeping staff, laundry staff, and cooks. $100 per year to regular permanent part-time employees.
Mileage: In accordance with corporate travel policy.

Cleaner/porter/housekeeping aide/laundry aide/cleaner: $25.06-$27.23 (2023), rising in 3 steps to $27.38-$29.76 (2026).
Dietary aide: $26.96-$29.30 (2023), rising in 3 steps to $29.46-$32.02 (2026).
Lodge clerk/Cook/Day program aide/personal support worker: $30.12-$32.74 (2023), rising in 3 steps to $32.92-$35.78 (2026).
Nursing Co-ordinator: $32.23-$35.03 (2023), rising in 3 steps to $35.22-$38.28 (2026).
Registered practical nurse: $34.25-$38.93 (2023), rising in 3 steps to $37.43-$42.53 (2026)
Clinical dietician/social worker: $43.31-$49.22 (2023), rising in 3 steps to $47.33-$53.78 (2026)
