Renewal agreement: Effective April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2028; signed May 8, 2025
Wage adjustments:
- 2026: 3%
- 2027: 3%
Shift premium: $1 per hour for hazard pay; $2 per hour for on call duty
Paid holidays: New Year's Day, Labour Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Indigenous People’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, Victoria Day, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, Canada Day, Discovery Day, Remembrance Day
Vacations with pay: 15 days for 1 to 2 years’ service; 16 days for 3 years; 17 days for 4 years; 18 days for 5 years; 19 for 6 years; 22 for 7 years; adding 1 day of vacation per year of service up to 35 days for 20 years’ service
Overtime: In excess of 8 hours in a day or 40 hours in a week, at 1.5 times normal hourly rate or double time for statutory holidays. Lieu time to a maximum of 10 days
Employee benefits: Group health and medical plans, employer pays 100% of monthly premium costs
Pension: Municipal Pension Plan
Indigenous cultural leave: 5 days per year
Special leave: 6 days
Probationary period: 9 months or 975 hours
Discipline: Sunset clause of 12 months
Benefits: Healthcare Benefit Trust; 100% of monthly premiums for dental plan, extended health care plan, group life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance plans; long-term disability plan

- Dietary aide (0-2000 hours) $28.11 rising 2 steps to $29.82
- Kitchen worker (0-2000 hours) $30.29 rising 2 steps to $32.14
- Program coordinator (0-2000 hours) $37.15 rising 2 steps to $39.41
