Renewal agreement: Effective Dec. 1, 2025 to Nov. 30, 2028; signed Oct. 30, 2025
Wage adjustments:
- Dec. 1, 2025: $0.70 per hour
- Dec. 1, 2026: $0.65 per hour
- Dec. 1, 2027: $0.70 per hour
Shift premium: $0.50 for night shift; $2.50 for lead hand/supervisor above cleaner wage rate
Paid holidays: New Year's Day, Labour Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Thanksgiving Day, Victoria Day, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, Canada Day, Family Day, Remembrance Day, Civic Holiday
Vacations with pay: 1 floater day per year
Sick leave: 3 per year
Bereavement leave: 5 days for immediate family member (father, mother, spouse, children, brother, sister, common-in-law, same sex-partner, father-in-law, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, grandparents, son in law, daughter in law, aunts and uncles); 3 days for grandparent of spouse
Overtime: 1.5 times regular hourly wage for over 44 hours per week or 9 hours of work
Probationary period: 60 days; 90 days for those working less than 5 days per week
Discipline: Sunset clause of 12 months
Safety gear: $150 per year for footwear, increasing to $175 as of Dec. 1, 2026; 3 sets of uniforms per year; winter parks and gloves as needed
