Renewal agreement: Effective Feb. 1, 2026 to Jan. 31, 2029; signed Feb. 3, 2026
Paid holidays: New Year's Day, Family Day, Labour Day, Good Friday, Thanksgiving Day, Victoria Day, Christmas Day, Canada Day, Boxing Day
Vacations with pay: 2 weeks for 1 to 4 years of service; 3 weeks for 5 to 8 years; 4 weeks for 9 to 19 years; 5 weeks for 20+ years
Personal/sick days: 3 shifts up to 36 hours per year for full time after 1 year’s service; 4 shifts up to 48 hours after 5 years; 1 shift up to 12 hours for part time for 1 year; 2 shifts up to 24 hours after 5 years for part time
Overtime: 1.5 times regular hourly wage outside 44-hour week or 88 hours for 2 weeks

Bereavement leave: 5 days for immediate family (spouse, child, stepchild, parents, siblings, grandparents, grandchildren, parents-in-law); 1 day for aunt, uncle, siblings-in-law; 2 extra days for travel beyond 480 kms
Probationary period: 3 months
Discipline: Sunset clause of 15 months
Safety shoes: $250 per year
Uniforms/clothing: employer provides uniform, pants, shirts, safety vest, spring jacket, sweater
Sample rates of pay:
0-3 months: $17.60 rising 3 steps to $19.05
3-24 months: $18.39 rising 3 steps to $19.90
24-48 months: $18.80 rising 3 steps to $20.34
48+ months: $19.10 rising 3 steps to $20.67
