Wage increases:
2026: 2%
2027: 2.5%
Paid holidays: New Year's Day, Family Day, Labour Day, Good Friday, Thanksgiving Day, Victoria Day, Christmas Day, Canada Day, Boxing Day, Heritage Day, Remembrance Day
Sick days: 5 days per year
Overtime: 1.5 times regular hourly rate
Bereavement leave: 5 days for immediate family (parents, parents-in-law, stepparents, grandchildren, spouse, child, siblings, stepchildren, grandparents, children-in-law, niece, nephew)
Probationary period: 90 days
Uniforms: All protective and safety wear and equipment
Safety shoes: $250 per year
Sample rates of pay:
- Class 1 general labourer (min): $28.00 rising 2 steps to $29.25
- Class 4 rover I (min): $34.00 rising 2 steps to $35.55
- Class 8 electrician (min): $47.75 rising 2 steps to $49.85
