Renewal agreement: Effective May 1, 2023, to April 30, 2026.

Wage adjustments:

Effective April 28, 2024: 4%

Effective May 4, 2025: 4%

Shift premium: $6.00 per hour for shifts commencing between 3:30 pm and 8:30 pm and for shifts commencing between 8:30 pm and before 1:01 am.

Paid holidays: 15 days.

Vacations with pay: Vacation allowance of 6% of gross paid on the regular weekly pay cheque.

Overtime: Time and one-half the regular hourly rate for the first 2 hours of overtime. All additional hours shall be paid at double the regular hourly rate.

Medical benefits: Boilermaker Lodge 359 Health & Welfare Fund.

Pension: Boilermaker Lodge 359 Pension Trust Fund.

Sick leave: Employees are entitled to illness or injury leave in accordance with the terms of the Employment Standards Act in effect on January 1, 2023.

Call-in pay: Emergency repair call-out allowance: For jobs sites in the Vancouver Free Zone & Port Moody: $200.00 For all other jobsites: $300.00.

Uniforms/clothing: The employer shall supply when required: safety hats, new sweat bands, new liners, appropriate welding gloves, appropriate working gloves, welding helmets, welding and burning goggles, appropriate welding leathers (i.e. jackets, capes and/or sleeves), non-prescription safety glasses, and leather faced gloves (unless special processes dictate otherwise).

Sample rates of pay (current, after increase):

Journeyperson: $68.75, up two steps to $74.70.

Personal effects of employees shall be covered by fire insurance up to the amount of $400.00 in each individual case, such insurance to be paid by the employer.
