Renewal agreement: Effective May 1, 2016, to April 30, 2020. Signed on June 1, 2016.

Wage adjustments: 
Effective May 1, 2017: 3.5%
Effective May 1, 2018: 3.5%
Effective May 1, 2019: 3.5%

Shift premium: If working higher than 13.72 metres, time and one-half.

Paid holidays: 12 days.

Vacations with pay: 4 weeks or 6%. 

Overtime: Time and one-half for first 2 hours worked beyond normal work hours, double time for all hours beyond 2 worked. Double time for all hours worked on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays for industrial work. Time and one-half for Saturday hours for commercial work.

Meal allowance: Employer supplies hot meal or $20 for work more than 10 hours.

Pension: Employer and employees contribute to fund.

Uniforms/clothing: Safety hat, safety toe rubber boots, welding jackets, gloves, safety goggles, masks, wet-weather clothing, all supplied by employer.

Tool allowance: Employer must supply tools on tool list and must reimburse workers for any losses of personal tools. Mileage: CRA Vehicle Allowance per kilometre ($0.54 per kilometre for the first 5,000 kilometres driven and $0.48 per kilometre thereafter).

Journeyperson: $40.90 rising 4 steps to $45.34
Job steward: $42.95
Foreman: $42.95 rising in 4 steps to $49.08
General foreman: $49.08 rising in 4 steps to $55.22
First-year apprentice: $16.36
Second-year apprentice: $20.45
Third-year apprentice: $26.59
Fourth-year apprentice: $32.72

Editor’s notes: Construction camp loss: When employee is required to reside in a construction camp, $2,000 will be available for any loss of personal effects due to fire. Medical examination: When employees are required to take a medical examination, employee is reimbursed 4 hours’ pay. Water: Where there is no potable water, bottled water will be supplied. Transportation subsistence: Out-of-town work within 104 kilometers around Winnipeg: $77.70 per day. Out-of-town work between 104 kilometres and 225 kilometres around Winnipeg: $134.60 per day. Out-of-town work greater than 225 kilometres around Winnipeg: $155.30 per day.
