Renewal agreement: Effective May 1, 2015, to April 30, 2019. Signed on May 4, 2015.

Shift premium: $3 per hour for shifts that begin outside the limits to which a regular shift can be expanded. $3.50 effective May 1, 2017.

Paid holidays: 11 days. Time and one-half for first 8 hours worked on a named holiday, double time for hours worked beyond that.

Overtime: Time and one-half for first 2 hours worked beyond 8 in one day, double time for all hours worked thereafter. Double time for all overtime hours worked on a Saturday, Sunday or named holiday.

Pension: Employer to contribute $5 per hour for northern employees, $4.50 per hour for southern employees.

Call-in pay: Minimum 2 hours’ pay at applicable rate. Employer will compensate for time and transportation whether the employee commences work or not.

Discipline: Sunset clause is 2 years.

Uniforms/clothing: Employer to supply safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, rubber boots, waterproof aprons and respiratory protection.

Mileage: 52¢ per kilometre.

Northern region

General foreman: $54.01 per hour

Foreman: $52.01

Journeyman: $48.01

Southern region:

General foreman: $54.46

Foreman: $52.46

Journeyman: $48.46

Editor’s notes: Turnarounds: When an employee works beyond daily commuting distance for 24 consecutive days without a day off, they will receive 4 days’ leave and $174 transportation allowance.
