Renewal agreement: Effective July 1, 2014, to June 30, 2017. Signed on Nov. 23, 2015.
Wage adjustments:
Effective July 1, 2014: 2%
Effective July 1, 2015: 1.75%
Effective July 1, 2016: 1.5%
Shift premium: $1.50 per hour for all hours worked between 4 p.m. and 8 a.m. $1.50 per hour for all hours worked between 12:01 a.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. Monday. $2 per hour for general foreperson. $1 per hour for working foreperson. $1.50 per hour for acting security supervisor.
Paid holidays: 12 days.
Vacations with pay: 4% of straight-time earnings in lieu of vacation for term employees. 1.25 days per month of service after 1 year, 1.67 days per month of service after 10 years, 2.08 days per month of service after 20 years and 2.25 days per month of service after 25 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half. Double time for overtime hours worked between 12 a.m. and 8 a.m.
Meal allowance: $8 when employee is required to work more than 2 hours of overtime or when an employee receives a call back for more than 4 hours.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 60% of premiums for the Voluntary Major Medical Insurance Plan.
Dental: Employer pays 50% of premiums for the Dental Insurance Plan.
Sick leave: 10 hours of paid sick leave per month of full-time compensated service to a maximum of 1,600 hours. Abuse of sick leave will be grounds for disciplinary action up to and including discharge.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for employee’s spouse, child or parent. 3 days for employee’s sibling, grandparent, grandchild, parent-in-law or stepchild. 1 day for employee’s son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law or sister-in-law.
Seniority – recall rights: 1 year.
Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours at time and one-half.
Probationary period: 1,040 hours worked to a maximum of 1 year.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 1 year.
Safety shoes: 1 pair of boots every 2 years.
