Editor’s note:

This collective agreement demonstrates a progressive approach to employee scheduling, providing multiple options for reduced work weeks (Options A, B, C, and D) during low periods, and allowing full-time employees the flexibility to adjust their work schedules through banked time. This arrangement aims to balance business needs with employee preferences, promoting work-life balance and reducing burnout, which is increasingly recognized as a priority in modern workplaces. The provision for mutual agreement between managers and employees in selecting reduced work week options highlights a collaborative and employee-centric approach.
