Wage adjustments:
AM/PM run rates/flat-rate charters:
Effective Sept. 1, 2016: 2%
Effective Sept. 1, 2017: 2%
Noon independent shuttles/noon runs/late runs/kindergarten:
Effective Sept. 1, 2016: 2%
Effective Sept. 1, 2017: 1.5%
Shift premium: When rewriting route sheet for third time and subsequent times in 1 year, 1 hour pay. Wheelchair drivers: $2 per day for regular wheelchair drivers.
Paid holidays: 10 days.
Vacations with pay: Canada Labour Code provisions to start, 4% after 1 year, 6% after 6 years.
Meal allowance: After 5 hours: $10. After 8 hours: $18. After 12 hours: $30.
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (parent, child, spouse, sister, brother, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, stepchildren, grandchildren and grandparents). 1 day to attend memorial service or internment at a later date.
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months.
Probationary period: 6 months.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 18 months, except for serious accidents or injuries.

Flat-rated charters: Various rates depending on travel locations of drop-off and pick-up (Wainfleet, West Lincoln, Grimsby, Lincoln, Pelham, St. Catharines, Thorold, Welland, Port Colborne, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Niagara Falls, Fort Erie). Charters paid at hourly rate based on total times.
Editor’s notes: Out-of-town supplies: Containers of oil, windshield washer fluid, anti-freeze coolant, heavy duty scraper and a broom. Extension cords and timers for drivers required to plug in their buses during cold weather and $100 reimbursement for the cost of hydro. Wheelchair driver coat: 1 coat to each regular wheelchair bus driver. Overnight charters: 10 hours' pay for each 24-hour period; $30 per day for meals. Medical examination: 100% reimbursement, maximum $130 for license renewal. Lump sum: $120 on first pay period after ratification, $120 on first pay period after Dec. 1 of year 2 and $120 in the first pay period after Sept. 1 of year 3.
