Wage adjustments:

Shift premium: Time and one-half for all hours worked outside previous schedule until expiry of required notice for employees who change from 1 shift to another without 24 hours’ notice. $0.85 per hour (previously $0.75 per hour) for afternoon shift. $1.45 per hour (previously $1.20 per hour) for night shift. $1 per hour for employees instructed by employer to provide on-job training to employee. $1 per hour for employees holding active dual-trades tickets.
Paid holidays: 11 days, plus 1 floating holiday.
Vacations with pay: 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 4 years (for employees attaining seniority before May 1, 2018), 3 weeks after 5 years, 4 weeks after 10 years, 5 weeks after 15 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all time worked outside daily schedule of hours or for first 10 hours of work on Saturday. Double time after 10 hours of work per day or for all work on Sunday.
Meal allowance: $15 for employee who does overtime work in conjunction with regular shift for longer than 2 hours.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 80% of premiums, employees 20% of premiums.
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death of immediate relative (parent, spouse, child, grandchild, grandparent, sister, brother, mother-in-law, father-in-law). 1 day to attend funeral of employee’s spouse’s brother or sister. Employer may provide 1 week, without pay, if funeral is outside Calgary.
Seniority – recall rights: Period equal to one-half of employee’s length of service or 6 months, whichever is less; 12 months for employees with 5 years of service. 1 year from date of transfer for employee who is transferred from bargaining unit. 2 years after employee becomes totally disabled if seniority is less than 10 years; 3 years if seniority is 10 years or more. 6 months for employee who is off work on workers’ compensation or due to compensable injury to start; 12 months for employee with 5 years of service.
Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours’ pay at regular hourly rate or applicable premium rate for time worked, whichever is greater.
Probationary period: 18 consecutive weeks of employment.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 18 months for letter of reprimand, suspension or other sanction.
Severance: 1.5 weeks per year of completed service, maximum 40 weeks.
Safety shoes: Employer will provide $200 (previously $175) when employee purchases approved pair of safety shoes or boots for use at work.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide and launder work clothing for all employees (cotton-based for maintenance and engineers).
Tool allowance: $750 per year for employees who are classified as tradespersons, including engineers.

Part-time benefits: Part-time position classified as block-machine operator and packers will receive maximum $500 per year for dental cleanings, prescriptions, registered physiotherapy, registered massage therapy, registered chiropractic treatment and safety shoes/boots (operator must be working average of 14 hours per week and have completed probationary period of 18 weeks to be eligible).
