Renewal agreement: Effective April 1, 2014, to March 31, 2017. Signed on Oct. 6, 2015.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective April 1, 2015: 2.5%
Effective April 1, 2016: 2.5%
Paid holidays: 12 days.
Vacations with pay: 1.5 days for each month receiving 10 days’ pay to start, 1.92 days per month after 3 years, 2.25 days per month after 8 years, 2.33 days per months after 15 years. One year’s worth can be carried over. $725 in vacation travel assistance and 3 days’ travel time will be granted once per year. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for first 4 consecutive hours, double-time for all time worked after 4 consecutive hours. Can be taken as lieu time up to a maximum of 120 hours.
Sick leave: 1.25 days for each month receiving 10 days’ pay.
LTD: Company provides LTD plan.
AD&D: Company provides benefits.
Life insurance: Company provides life insurance for employees, dependants and spouses.
Pension: Company provides pension plan.
Bereavement leave: 5 paid days for death in immediate family. Up to 5 paid days special leave for death of grandchild, child-in-law or sibling-in-law.
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months.
Call-in pay: The greater of appropriate overtime rate or 4 hours’ straight time pay if recalled to work. $15 for each 8-hour or less period on standby, $20 for standby on a holiday. If called in, minimum of 4 hours' straight pay.
Severance: Employees with 4 years or more of continuous employment receive 2.5 days’ pay for each year of continuous employment. Retiring employees with 4 or more years of continuous service receive one-half weeks’ pay for each year of continuous employment.
Safety shoes: $200 per year for footwear and gloves.
Uniforms/clothing: Company provides PPE to maintenance employees where needed.
Tool allowance: Maintenance employees provide their own tools. If a tool is worn out or broken, company will replace it. Company provides highly specialized tools not normally in journeyman’s tool kit.
Sample rates of hourly pay (current, after 17% increase):
Tenant relations officer: $29.55 rising 6 steps to $34.34
Clerk typist: $24.11 rising 6 steps to $27.69
Finance clerk: $28.73 rising 6 steps to $34.72
Sample rates of hourly pay (current, after 7% increase):
Housing maintenance foreman: $37.80 rising 3 steps to $40.27
Maintenance serviceman: $32.81 rising 3 steps to $34.97
Painter: $33.87 rising 3 steps to $36.11
Plumber: $38.29 rising 3 steps to $41.03
Carpenter: $37.33 rising 3 steps to $39.95
Oil burner mechanic: $36.11 rising 3 steps to $38.60
Editor’s notes: Marriage/birth leaves: 5 days' paid leave granted for employee getting married. 1 paid day for the birth of a child. Housing allowance: $450 per month. Utility allowance: $200 per month.
