Renewal agreement: Effective April 1, 2016, to March 31, 2020. Signed on May 25, 2016.

Wage adjustments: 
March 19, 2017: 2.5%
March 19, 2018: 2.5%
March 19, 2019: 2.5%

Paid holidays: 11 days.  

Vacations with pay: 1 day per month, maximum 2 weeks to start, 2 weeks or 4% after 1 year, 3 weeks or 6% after 4 years, 4 weeks or 8% after 8 years, 5 weeks or 10% after 12 years. 

Overtime: Time and one-half after 40 hours. Double time and one-half on a holiday. Time and one-half for working first scheduled day off, double time for working second or third consecutive scheduled days off.

Meal allowance: $15 when working 3 hours of overtime.

Medical benefits: Prairie Teamsters Health and Welfare Plan.  

Sick leave: 6 days or 48 hours per year. Unused days paid out each April when 40 hours are reached.

STD: Prairie Teamsters Health and Welfare Plan.  

LTD: Prairie Teamsters Health and Welfare Plan.  

Pension: Prairie Teamsters Pension: $0.85 per hour worked; Effective March 19, 2017: $0.95 per hour. Effective April 1, 2018: $1 per hour. Effective March 31, 2019: $1.05 per hour.

Bereavement leave: 4 days for death in immediate family (mother, father, spouse, common-law spouse, children, sister, brother, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, stepchildren, stepparents, grandchildren, grandparents and any relative of the employee who resides permanently with the employee). Up to 7 days if travel required for more than 700 kilometres. 

Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours. 

Probationary period: 75 days. Employee shall receive screening officer training, obtain Level 3 CATSA certification before probation period begins.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months.

Uniforms/clothing: All uniforms supplied by employer. Cleaning allowance $15 every 4 weeks.

Mileage: $0.46 per kilometre for out-of-town work.

Level 1: $19.85 rising 3 steps to $21.38
Level 2: $21.01 rising 3 steps to $22.63
TL premium rate: $26.35 rising 3 steps to $28.38

Editor’s notes: Marriage leave: 5 days off for an employee to attend his/her own wedding. Special medical leave: 7 days off in advance of a visit with a medical specialist. Payroll error: Failure to correct a payroll error within 5 business days will result in a penalty of 4 hours' pay per day until the error is paid. Security clearance: All employees must be able to acquire and maintain a valid Transport Canada security clearance at all times while employed. Vaccinations: $15 reimbursement per year for flu, Hepatitis B shots. Parking allowance: 100% covered for cost of parking at Fort McMurray airport. For workers hired after April 26, 2016, 20% covered by employee, maximum $10 increase in cost.
