Renewal agreement: Effective April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025.
Shift premium: $0.25 for hours worked between 12:01am Saturday and 11:59pm Sunday. $0.25 for hours worked between 11pm and 7am.
Paid holidays: 12 days.
Vacations with pay: 1 day per month to start to a maximum of 10 days per year, 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 2 years, 4 weeks after 4 years, 4 weeks with a maximum of 3 continuous weeks after 7 years, 5 weeks with a maximum of 3 continuous weeks after 12 years, 6 weeks with a maximum of 3 continuous weeks after 15 years, 7 weeks with a maximum of 3 continuous weeks after 18 years.
Medical benefits: Quebec Parental Insurance Plan for maternity and paternity leave.
Sick leave: 10 days paid.
Life insurance: Group insurance plan.
Pension: Employer matching based on number of years worked for the company.
Bereavement leave: 10 days leave, 5 days with pay for the death of a spouse, son, daughter, father, mother, brother, sister, grandfather, grandmother, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, father-in-law, mother-in-law, brother-in-law or sister-in-law. Additional 7 days leave without pay when the funeral takes place more than 700 km from the normal place of work.
Probationary period: 120 calendar days.
Uniforms/clothing: Uniforms provided by employer. Employees may wear short-sleeved shirts unless objected to by the customer.
Tool allowance: Equipment provided by employer.
Sample rates of pay (current, after increase):
Control officer – level 1: $20.31.
Security coordinator – CCS: $30.47.
Editor’s notes: 2 days off for marriage, 1 with pay.
