Renewal agreement: Effective March 18, 2019 to March 17, 2022. Signed on March 17, 2019.

Wage adjustments:

Effective April 18, 2019: 2.5% lump-sum payment

Effective March 19, 2020: 2.5% lump-sum payment

Effective March 18, 2021: 2.5% lump-sum payment

Shift premium: $0.25 per hour when performing duties of lead-hand. 5% for work after 10:30 a.m. and before 6:30 p.m. 10% for work after 6:30 a.m. and before 4:15 a.m. 10% for work after 4:15 a.m. and before 5:30 a.m. 10% when employee is scheduled to work more than 9 hours and until or beyond 2 a.m.

Paid holidays: 10 days, plus 6 days for Christmas holiday period.

Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 8 hours per day; for all work on Saturday, if time is not part of employee’s Friday shift. Double time for all work on Sunday, if time is not part of employee’s Saturday shift.

Bereavement leave: 4 days for death of spouse, parent, child, brother, sister. 3 days for death of stepparent, grandparent, stepchild, grandchild, stepbrother, half-brother, stepsister, half-sister, current spouse’s parent, current spouse’s stepparent, current spouse’s grandparent, son’s current spouse, daughter’s current spouse. If member of employee’s immediate family dies while in active service of Canadian Armed Forces, employee may, should funeral be delayed, have excused absence from work delayed until 3 or 4 normally scheduled working days, whichever is applicable, which includes date of funeral.

Seniority – recall rights: 18 months to start; 36 months after 1 year of seniority. 60 months for layoffs, sick leave.

Probationary period: 90 days in any consecutive 6-month period.

Retiree fund: Employer will accrue $0.03 cents per hour worked for retiree fund during term of collective agreement.
