Renewal agreement: Effective April 3, 2016, to Dec. 31, 2017. Signed on April 3, 2016.

Shift premium:
$1 per hour for foremen with industrial construction crew supervisor status. $1.50, effective May 7, 2017.

Paid holidays:
11 days.

Vacations with pay:
6% to start, 7% after 3 years, 8% after 7 years, 9% after 10 years and 10% after 12 years.

Overtime:
20 hours of overtime per week maximum. Time and one-half for first 4 hours of overtime Monday through Friday (previously 2 hours) and double time for all hours thereafter. Double time for all hours worked Sundays and statutory holidays.

Meal allowance:
1 meal if working overtime in excess of 10 hours.

Bereavement leave:
3 days for immediate family, including spouse, child, parent, parent-in-law, grandparent, or sibling when employee has over 3 years of service.

Call-in pay:
2 hours’ pay if employee called in and no work available. Minimum 4 hours’ pay minimum if employee called in after regular shift.

Safety shoes:
$150.

Uniforms/clothing:
2 pairs of coveralls per year.

: $220 each way in total (previously $216).

Editor’s notes:
Meal break: 30-minute paid break but no pay for noon break on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Stand-by duty: 2 hours’ pay at double time. Relocation expenses: $1,000 to offset cost of car allowance from Edmonton to Fort McMurray, 2 days' lodging, 2 days of meals for employee and dependants, 2 days’ pay. Employer will also cover cost to ship up to 5,000 lbs of furniture and personal belongings or $650 to rent a trailer.  Specialty welders: $175 payment for each specialty ticket the employer requires the employee to test/re-qualify for (previously $150).
