Renewal agreement: Jan. 21, 2024, to Jan. 20, 2026.
Wage adjustments:
Effective Jan. 21, 2024: Wages rates are determined by a performance-based process within a negotiated wage scale.
Shift premium: $0.50 per hour for 0 to 2,000 hours worked as steward; $1 per hour for 2,001 or more hours worked as steward. When a job requires a night shift crew for longer than two weeks, the employer will meet with the Association to discuss terms and conditions for night shift premiums.
Paid holidays: 11 days.
Vacations with pay: All employees will be entitled to receive an amount equal to 6% t of their regular earnings as vacation pay,
Overtime: One- and one-half times the hourly rate of pay for all hours in excess of 9 regular straight hours worked per day and all hours in excess of 44 regular straight hours worked per week
Meal allowance: Subject to client requirements for each project.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 60% of the premium and the employee pays 40% of the premium for group benefits plan.
Sick leave: Absence without pay will be granted for a time mutually agreed upon between the employer and the employee.
Pension: Group RRSP. Contributions made by both employer and employee.
Bereavement leave: 2 days for immediate family members.
Probationary period: 90 workdays.
Safety shoes: All trades people will require CSA steel toed boots – 6” minimum and rubber boots as required.
Uniforms/clothing: All trades people will require a CSA approved hard hat, rain suit/gear as required.
Tool allowance: All tradespersons shall supply their own tools common to their trade except power tools.
Mileage: The Employer and the Association may establish travel allowances, transportation terms, and accommodation for a project or job.

Carpenter Foreperson: $41.50 - $42.74
Carpenter Leadhand $40.00 - $41.50
Carpenter Journeyperson: $35.84 - $40.00
Labourer: $18.26 - $22.50
Skilled Labourer: $22.50 - $27.42
Surveyor: $34.74 - $39.47
