Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2015, to Dec. 31, 2019. Signed on Jan. 1, 2015.

Wage adjustments:

Effective Jan. 1, 2016: 2.25%

Effective Jan. 1, 2017: 2.25%

Effective Jan. 1, 2018: 2.5%

Effective Jan. 1, 2019: 2.5%

Shift premium: $1 per hour for employees working from a swinging stage. $1 per hour for employees working from a Bosun’s Chair. $1 per hour for employees climbing without staging 30 feet or more above the ground (does not apply working from a ladder). Employees working in a shed or pier where explosive cargo is being loaded or stored will be paid double.

Paid holidays: 12 days.

Vacations with pay: 3 weeks after 3 years, 4 weeks after 10 years, 5 weeks after 20 years and 6 weeks after 30 years.

Overtime: Time and one-half for all hours worked between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday. Double time for all hours worked thereafter. Double time for all hours worked on Sunday. Double time for all hours worked between 12 a.m. and 8 a.m.

Meal allowance: $10 after 3 hours of overtime.

Sick leave: Credits earned at the rate of 1 1/4 days per month worked.

Bereavement leave: 4 days for employee’s father, mother, brother, sister, spouse, child, father-in-law, mother-in-law or relative permanently residing with the employee. 1 day for employee’s grandparent, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law or sister-in-law.

Seniority – recall rights: 1 year.

Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours at time and one-half.

Probationary period: 100 days.

Safety shoes: $200 for safety boots and coveralls.

Sample rates of pay (current, after 2.25% increase):

Group 1 without seniority: $14.62 per hour

Group 1 with seniority: $24.09

Group 2: $25.42

Group 3: $26.17

Group 4: $26.90

Group 5: $27.35

Group 6: $27.97

Group 7: $30.36

Editor’s notes: Layoff: 2 weeks’ pay for the first year of seniority and 1 week’s pay for each subsequent year to a maximum of 28 weeks’ pay.
