Wage adjustments:
Effective Nov. 1, 2013: 1.5%
Effective Nov. 1, 2014: 1.5%
Effective Nov. 1, 2015: 2.25%

Shift premium: Double time for employees working the night shift.
Paid holidays: 12 days.
Vacations with pay: 1 1/4 days per month worked to start, 3 weeks after1 year, 4 weeks after 5 years, 5 weeks after 12 years and 6 weeks after 20 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half.
Meal allowance: $17 when employee is required to work overtime.
Sick leave: 1 1/2 days per month to a maximum of 200 days. Employees claiming sick leave must, if requested, provide a certificate or medical prognosis from a physician after 5 consecutive working days of illness. $500 incentive for employees who use no sick leave. $400 incentive for employees who use 1-2 days of sick leave. $300 for employees who use 3-4 days of sick leave.
Bereavement leave: 7 days for employee’s spouse, father, mother, foster parent, brother, sister, son, daughter, former guardian, ward, father-in-law, mother-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, stepparent, stepchild, grandparent, grandchild or any relative permanently living with the employee. 2 days for employee’s brother-in-law, sister-in-law, uncle, aunt, nephew or niece. 2 additional days if the service takes place outside of the province.
Seniority – recall rights: 18 months.
Probationary period: 90 days.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 2 years.
