Renewal agreement: Effective Sept. 1. 2016, to Aug. 31, 2019. Signed on April 14, 2017.
Paid holidays: 10 days.
Vacations with pay: 5/6 of day per month or 4% to start, 15 days or 6% after 1 year, 20 days or 8% after 10 years, 25 days or 10% after 20 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half after 8 hours per day, 44 hours per week.
Medical benefits: Alberta School Employee Benefit Plan.
Sick leave: 2 days per month, maximum 20 days to start, 90 days per year after first year.
Pension: Local Authorities Pension Plan.
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death of parent, brother, stepchild, nephew, father-in-law, brother-in-law, guardian, sister, aunt, grandparent, daughter-in-law, wife, son, uncle, grandchild, son-in-law, husband, daughter, niece, mother-in-law, sister-in-law. 3 additional days when burial more than 350 kilometres away. 1-half day to attend funeral as a pallbearer.
Seniority – recall rights: 18 months.
Call-in pay: Minimum 3 hours’ pay.
Probationary period: 120 days.
Uniforms/clothing: $200 per year for caretakers, maintenance employees.
